BodyTalk works on the principle that daily and past stresses such as toxins and emotional and physical traumas impact on our bodies' own ability to heal properly.
When stressed, your body becomes less efficient, body parts and body systems lose their ability to communicate and synchronise their functions, resulting in pain and dis-ease.
BodyTalk facilitates your body's ability to move out of this stressful way of functioning back into its natural healing function. This means you recover from illness and trauma more quickly and easily.

Allergies in Child treated with Access
11 year old boy (my son) came in from rolling in the grass with friends. His eyes were swollen, itchy and beet red. He was clearly having an allergic reaction to the grass pollen. And he was quite miserable.
I performed BodyTalk Access on him then did a bit of BodyTalk Fast Aid. After 10 minutes he got off the couch, eyes completely cleared up and feeling fine!

Autism
I had just finished my training and was practicing in my home on a friend when my 17 year old son Tyler wandered into the room to watch. After I completed the session he innocently asked, "Can you do that on me?" I was a bit shocked as he hardly leaves his room and his world of computer gaming. Of course I said, "Sure." He hopped onto the couch and I started the session.
A little background on Tyler, he's been diagnosed with a form of Autism called Asperger's Syndrome. He has always had challenges writing papers for school, even though his IQ is quite high. Getting that first paragraph is something he typically could not get his mind wrapped around. Once he had the first paragraph, he could finish the essay or paper.
One week after the session he came to me with this. "Mom, I didn't want to say anything after the first time it happened, or even the second time. But when it happened the third time I knew something must have changed. I had to write three essays in English class this week. I finished each one in thirty minutes." He proceeded to show me this perfect essay, a page and a half in length. As a senior in high school, he got his first A in English that quarter!
We are continuing the BodyTalk sessions, which has led to opening of emotional centres, as we all know can be inhibited in Autistic kids. I can't wait to see the results on this front! Baby Vaccination
My 4 month old granddaughter, Chloe, was experiencing difficulty sleeping, stomach cramps and very smelly bowel movements for several weeks following her 3-month vaccination. I did two BodyTalk sessions on consecutive days. On the third day I got this text message from her mother "Chloe slept for 13 hours last night, went to sleep easily again and her first normal poo this morning since she had the rotavirus vaccine. Birthing and BodyTalk
I have been a birth coach for many years before I learned BodyTalk. Now I use BodyTalk during the Prenatal care, and through the Labour and Delivery Process.
Immediately after learning BodyTalk I had a delivery to attend. The cord was wrapped around the baby's neck (we found out after he was born). We knew something was wrapped around something because the Heart rate would drop every time mom would have a contraction.
When fight or flight kicks in when a mom is in labour it causes the dilation of the cervix/uterus to reverse! She was 8-9 cm (close to delivery) until the Doctor began to express her concern for the baby. Then they checked her and she was 7 cm, then 6 cm. Baby's heart rate did start showing signs of distress, and with a closing cervix, she was doomed for a c-section.
I asked the Doctor if we could flip her from her back to her hands and knees. She allowed us to. I started doing the cortices technique on the mom.
The Doctor checked her 2 minutes later and said that the baby had completely flipped (was also posterior) and crowned, and the cervix was completely dilated!
Instead of major abdominal surgery, she had a natural vaginal birth.

Boils clear up with no antibiotics
My daughter has a tendency to get boils, and has in the past had to take antibiotics to get rid of them. With the last boil I did BodyTalk Access sessions twice a day, and another when I could fit it in. The boil was totally gone in 3 days, no antibiotics needed! Rachael Aberle
Brain injury from birth/Autism
There is a beautiful woman in our community who I often see on the ferry with one or more children with mental disabilities of varying degrees. She is a respite carer and looks after the children while their parents have time out. One of these 'children' is a 16yr old young man who is usually in a helmet to protect his head during seizures, whom she just leads around by the hand. He cannot speak and has minimal interaction. One day on the ferry with her permission I gave him a session which was brief but included hooking up all his five senses on both the physical and subtle levels.
Two days later I was amazed to see him walking slowly past our house, looking at everything, with his carer walking a bit behind him. She was overjoyed and so excited, exclaiming that he just "woke up"! She said he kept turning his head to hear sounds so she took him out for a walk. I am such a sook, I cried. Bronchitis gone in 4 hours!
As an Access Trainer, I travelled to Midland to teach BodyTalk Access in the spring of 2009. I was feeling a little under the weather when I got there, and I powered through the class all right. That evening after class, I crashed hard and woke up the next morning with full blown bronchitis. The BodyTalk Practitioner I was staying with sat me in a chair and every 20 minutes for four hours, treated me. At the end of the 4 hours, my fever was completely gone, my cough was under control and I felt well enough to get on the airplane to fly home. I took it easy upon arriving home and went to bed early. Cancer, Chemo and having a baby
A client in her late 20's had cancer and went through extensive chemotherapy. She came into see me after she had finished all the rounds of chemo. We worked on side effects of the chemo, mostly poor circulation and profuse sweating during the BodyTalk sessions. We also worked on shifting anger and belief systems in relation to being diagnosed with cancer. After a few sessions, her circulation improved, the excess sweating subsided. After a few months, she expressed interest in having a baby. The doctors told her that she was infertile from the chemo. We did some more BodyTalk sessions to address fertility. After 3 months she became pregnant. We continued with sessions once a month throughout her pregnancy. She gave birth to a very healthy baby boy weighing in at 9 pounds! Chronic pain resolved after 10 years
After suffering with chronic pain for about 10 years, I was really searching for something to help me heal and be pain free. I had tried so many things like physical therapy, acupuncture, belly dance and yoga. While they all helped to an extent, I was really only functional. Eye spasms not responding to Botox injections gone with BodyTalk
I would like to share my experience with BodyTalk. I had blepharospasm for over 6 years and was told by numerous doctors it was incurable. Gum Inflammation in Child
9 year old girl (my daughter) complaining of tooth pain. Upon inspection visually saw large white pustule on bottom gum with much swelling. Looked almost like a canker sore but much more intense. The inflammation was under a tooth that she has had a lot of problems with in the past, including a baby root canal.
I performed BodyTalk Access and followed up at intervals of 30 minutes or so. I did Access again the next morning just one time and by the evening the pustule was completely gone and the inflammation was greatly reduced and she announced that she had no pain whatsoever! 3 week headache
Melissa said she had been battling with severe constant headaches for 3 weeks, and was taking strong pain killers that were not helping. I did a BodyTalk session on her, and immediately after I had finished, she was so surprised, and said the pain was gone. She has not had one headache since, (in the last week), not taken one more pain killer, and cancelled the cat scan the doctors suggested she have, as nothing was alleviating them. Nail fungus
I have a client that has been coming for 3 months...today she held out her hands and said Look!! Rash disappears in 3 days
I was asked to do a long distance BodyTalk session on someone that I had never met or worked with before. Every year for about 14 years, from about November until April he experienced a severe rash on many parts of his body. He had tried everything from Western medicine to Acupuncture to Homeopathy and Acupressure (he himself is an Acupressure technician) and nothing worked. Stroke treatment
From about five meters away across a playground I saw my mother unsteady on her feet and reaching for the wall as she went into a toilet block. So I ran and found her on the floor shaking in the classic stroke position with her left hand and arm curled up tight and not responding. I started treating her cortices and halfway through the second round she had come too, her arm and hand uncurled and she was very dazed but ok. She suffered some damage which affected her balance so she could not drive for several weeks and became dizzy just walking, but with BT this has gone away and she is back to driving and teaching yoga. Umbilical Hernia
I had a client that was 2.5 months old. He'd had an umbilical hernia since birth. His birth was traumatic, and he was in NICU for awhile after his birth.
Mom was told that he was fine, and they could surgically remove it after he was a year old. Until then they didn't know what to do about it.
His first session was interesting. He had a major bowel movement as I was tapping on him. In fact it came out of the diaper and onto his clothes! After she cleaned him up we finished the session.
He wanted a follow up session in 3 weeks. She noticed that he wasn't grunting when having a bowel movement anymore, and he didn't have times of colic crying anymore. She also thought that the hernia looked like it had reduced in size. She said in general he seemed happier.
In his second session, he required a bunch of lower right abdominal work. She reported back to me that the hernia was much smaller in size again and that he almost has a normal belly button now!
She was very surprised at the speedy results that took place. She won't have to have surgery done on her baby! Danielle Haines,
