What is Iridology?

Iridology or Iris Analysis (not to be confused with medical diagnosis) is a unique time honoured method that enables a skilled practitioner to analyse your Body-Mind system in detail. Iridology is not a medical diagnosis and for legal reasons it needs to be stated clearly here that it cannot and does not medically diagnose disease.

However it can reveal structural, organic and genetic strengths & weaknesses in surprising detail in well trained hands. An experienced and well trained Iridologist coupled with training in Sclerology (the reading of the red lines in the whites of the eyes), gives a unique understanding of how the body-mind system operates. Both reveal a plethora of information about potential health issues that can be managed with good naturopathic care minimizing the structural, organic and genetic weaknesses and supporting & enhancing the strengths revealed. This helps optimise normal healthy physiological functioning leading to more energy, vitality and wellness. Iridology works hand in glove with a preventative approach to health, helping people become aware of strong potential weaknesses so they can adjust lifestyle, diet & nutritional factors to prevent ill health in the future. This is a different approach to conventional medical health care that is very focused on pathology & illness treating after a diagnosis has been made and focusing on symptom management. Natural Medicine using Iridology focuses on adjusting causes with lifestyle interventions and a wide variety of treatment options other than drugs or surgery.

Equipment used

David Holden at Global Health Clinics, uses the latest Canon 400D digital Iris Camera to instantly take a photo of each iris up to 10 megapixels, and up to 4 photos of each Sclera (North, South, East & West) giving a total of 10 photos of each eye. This is then analyzed using his over 20 years experience and a ‘reading’ given verbally on cassette tape or MP3 and written on a report template. This system has been computerized and is available upon request of the author.

What does it cost?

Both Iris photos digital hi quality (you keep) and 3 page reading including lifestyle & nutritional suggestions takes 30 minutes and normally costs $100 he is offering a February/March special saving you $20 reducing to $80 if booked in response to this email. You get to keep the digital photos as well as a full report verbal & written via email. Iris readings include specific lifestyle, dietary & exercise recommendations and nutritional suggestions to enable you to optimize the analysis readings potential. In David’s clinic he can do double readings where he can go into significantly more depth with the use of AK muscle testing to determine specific nutritional, herbal and homeopathic prescriptions for your areas of concern based on the Iris & Sclera readings.

Why a reading with David Holden?

David trained in Iridology with five of the world’s best, Dr Bernard Jensen (USA) in the 1980’s and Bob Lucy (Aust) & Dr David Pesek (USA) in the 1990’s and in Sclerology with Dr Jack Tips in the 1990’s and updated Iridology with Toni Miller (Aust) this century. He ran an Iridology school for 14 years so is well versed in explaining what the signs mean to both lay people and practitioners alike and has kept upto date with the significant changes in technology for both taking and analyzing the Iris and Sclera.

In the last 10 years there has been a massive change in the way iris signs are interpreted and therefore accuracy has increased substantially. It is important that the practitioner you entrust your reading to is up to date with these changes.

David combines both Iris & Sclera skills in a unique way giving a full Wholistic reading of the Body, Mind & Emotions (RAYID). This is the sort of reading you only really have done once, but updates as and when the sclera changes can be useful. The iris however, despite common misconceptions, changes little over time.
